What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Worker position at Hayes Company LLC?
Job Summary: We are looking for an energetic warehouse worker to receive, load and unload incoming and outgoing material.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Loads raw material or finished product on skid or hand truck.
Preserves a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area and workstations neat.
Uses tools such as hammers and crowbars to remove strapping and open crates/boxes.
Assists with product repair.
Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the work area supervisor.
Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
Follows prescribed safety regulations and complies with all Company and OSHA Safety and Health rules.
Proactively works to assist others in achieving the organizations objectives.
Strap and secure goods to pallet.
Receives, inspects, and sorts new inventory with RF scanner.
Operates, monitors, and troubleshoots a stretch wrap machine.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
At least two years of related experience required.
Scan gun experience a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds at a time.
Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
Must wear proper safety gear such as closed toe shoes.
Ability to work in non-climate-controlled warehouse environment in extreme weather. conditions, and with frequent noise and dust.
