Haymarket Center has emerged as a leader in the field of addictions and behavioral health treatment. We are the largest not-for-profit community-based adult detoxification, residential, and outpatient substance abuse treatment facility in Chicago. Haymarket Center has continued to grow into a comprehensive alcohol and other drug treatment organization, licensed by the state of Illinois, which receives funding from the private sector, as well as city, county, state and federal agencies. The treatment programs are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Rehabilitative Facilities (CARF).
This position will be responsible for the overall function of the program, direct supervision of staff, and clinical treatment of assigned patients.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Maintenance of daily program structure and staffing pattern.
- Facilitate weekly staff meeting and develop meeting agenda
- In conjunction with supervisor, maintain and/or enhance programmatic goals and objectives
- Identify staff training needs and provide training as needed.
- Monitor and complete required reporting forms relevant to staff performance, staff attendance and staff evaluations.
- Monitor counselor maintenance of patient harts for adherence to Haymarket Center's Quality Assurance standards and clarity of documentation of patient's progress in treatment.
- Facilitate didactic and therapeutic groups and document for each patient in attendance.
- Oversee case management, referral and referent contact services provided by counselors.
- Provide direct clinical treatment to assigned patients in a manner which meets Haymarket Center's Quality Assurance standards and is clear in its documentation of patient's progress in treatment.
- Monitor medication self-administration procedures and staff documentation of medications dispensed.
Requirements
- Master's Degree preferred.
- Certification at CADC level or LPC/LSW with Substance Abuse Experience Required .
- Knowledge and ability to perform all Essential Functions.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments at once.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Clinical supervisory experience preferred.
