Key Responsibilities:
- Lead fire alarm installations from start to finish, ensuring compliance with all project specifications and code requirements
- Supervise and coordinate field crews, subcontractors, and site activities related to fire alarm systems
- Conduct daily jobsite inspections to ensure safety, quality workmanship, and schedule adherence
- Interpret electrical and fire alarm drawings and delegate tasks accordingly
- Collaborate closely with project managers, estimators, and general contractors to address design or installation issues
- Ensure timely procurement of fire alarm materials and equipment in coordination with purchasing and warehousing
- Support inspections, testing, and commissioning with AHJs and third-party agencies
- Train, mentor, and develop field technicians and junior installers
- Document field progress, change orders, and labor tracking through daily reports and project logs
- 5 years of field experience with fire alarm systems, including 2 years in a supervisory or lead role
- Strong knowledge of NFPA 72 and local fire alarm codes
- Hands-on experience installing and troubleshooting Autocall systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Proven leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams
- OSHA 30 and other safety certifications are a plus
- NICET Level II or higher preferred but not required
