What are the responsibilities and job description for the CAD/BIM Designer position at Hazen and Sawyer?
Job Description:
This position will develop skills in design software such as Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD. Candidates will also develop skills in process mechanical design and detailing while working in a collaborative environment with senior level engineering and design staff. Candidates will be required to develop design documents and 3D models for water and wastewater facilities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Under direction of senior staff, develop Revit models, families, and contract documents.
- Learn and follow project CAD-BIM standards, discipline guidelines and instructions from engineers and/or other design staff to produce contract drawings.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or associate degree in an education program with focus in Engineering design, drafting, or related field preferred.
