What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Principal Engineer position at Hazen and Sawyer?
Hazen and Sawyer is seeking candidates with 10 - 15 years of experience in planning and design of water-related projects including pumping, piping, and treatment facilities. Must have experience in design of water or wastewater facilities and/or conveyance with strong knowledge and background of treatment equipment and pumping systems. Experience should encompass hydraulic evaluations, conceptual/feasibility studies, preparation of design reports, development of construction drawings and specifications, bidding assistance, and support of office and field-related construction services. Candidate shall be capable of supervising junior staff and managing large projects. Candidate shall also be able to lead business development activities including preparation of proposals and presentations. Should possess excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills, and be capable of interacting effectively with staff, clients, and regulatory agencies.
Requirements:
- B.S. Degree in Environmental, Civil, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
- M.S. Degree in Environmental Engineering is a plus.
- Must be a licensed PE.
