Maintenance Mechanic - Night Shift
12-hour shift 6:00 pm - 6:30 am (2-2-3)
Primary Duties
The Maintenance Mechanic reports to the Facility Engineer and has primary responsibility for performing mechanical equipment maintenance for the assigned facility.
- Assist in the servicing and repair of mechanical or electrical equipment
- Provide changeover production support
- Assist maintenance personnel in the assembly and installation of new and renovated equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Maintains company-required performance and maintenance records for identified equipment
- Assists in parts supplies inventory control and purchasing
- Recognizes the "customer" and is flexible in changing priorities as required by the customer
- Works under the guidance of peers, master mechanics, the facility engineer or the shift manager
- Displays team player characteristics
- Performs other duties as required
Required Qualifications
- 6 years of maintenance experience in a production environment
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Employees are eligible for full benefits, including medical, dental, insurance, 401k contribution, paid time off and paid holidays.This position may also qualify for medical reimbursement depending on the employee's annual base salary. If qualified, H.B. Fuller will pay up to 100% of the employee's medical premium.All employees also qualify for an annual cash bonus, based on business performance.
