Position Summery
HBD Industries is searching for an Industrial Engineering Intern in the Southeast Kansas Area. This position requires an individual with a strong analytical mind who would be able to study manufacturing processes and then recommend/implement improvements using a data driven methodology and technical experience. The Industrial Engineering Intern will also provide support to different teams throughout the company. This internship will be located in Chanute, Kansas.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
• Support, recognize, define, and solve problems/opportunities
• Gain understanding of manufacturing process controls
• Additional duties as assigned by Management
Experience and Education Required
• College student seeking a degree in a engineering or business related field
• Initiative, professionalism, and maturity
• Proficient with CAD software is preferred but not required
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
