The EP Tech assists with both pre, intra, and post EP patient care including transports, setting up sterile fields, prepping patients for procedures, circulating during procedures and operation of monitoring equipment as needed.
Remains aware of any change in patient's condition, performs reassessments and implementation of the patient's Plan of Care in accordance with the department/hospital standard.
Evaluates patient's response to Plan of Care, communicates to members of the health care team and implements necessary changes to care.
Records relevant data on patient record to provide an accurate reflection od the patient care received. Able to set up and successfully record right and left hear pressures, recognizes pressures by waveform, analyzes and records values on patient chart.
Implements daily and weekly QA and maintenance procedures on specified cardiac cath equipment according to established policies and procedures and with 95% accuracy.

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED). Graduate of an accredited School of Cardiovascular Technology and/or RCIS certification. High School Diploma or equivalent (GED). Graduate of an accredited School of Cardiovascular Technology and/or RCIS certification.Two years' experience in licensed field and one year EP lab experience.
- State of Florida professional license or certification. Or RCIS registry if not an ARRT, LPN, RT, RRT or Paramedic.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support)
