Job Summary And Qualifications
The ED Nurse Manager assists in planning, directing and managing the department and staff to assure quality service on a 24-hour basis while meeting JCAHO Standards, complying with corporate policy and procedures, managing supplies and equipment of the unit, promoting teamwork with physicians and all health care providers, promoting internal and external customer satisfaction and effective resource management. Demonstrates independent judgment and critical thinking skills in overseeing the delivery of patient care. Possesses the ability to act decisively under general administrative supervision. Demonstrates advanced clinical competence.

Job Summary And Qualifications

What qualifications you will need:
- Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Minimum of 3 years clinical emergency nursing experience in an acute care setting
- Minimum of 2 years leadership experience as a full time Charge Nurse Coordinator, Nursing Administrative Supervisor, or Nurse Management experience
