Job Summary and Qualifications
The Lead Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)performs all modes of respiratory therapy in patients of varying ages and medical conditions. Therapy is performed in accordance with the standards of practice as defined by Tomball Regional Hospital. The Respiratory Care Practitioner works independently, utilizing a variety of sophisticated instruments and technology and demonstrates good judgment and decision making in the treatment and handling of the individual patient. The Lead RRT may oversee other staff and assist the department management as directed. Also, identifies opportunities for continuous improvements of processes and services on an on-going basis.
