Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Center Project Manager to lead and manage the planning, execution, and delivery of data center infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data center environments, including physical infrastructure, networking, power and cooling, and IT deployments. This role requires strong project management skills, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and risks while ensuring operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, and deliver data center projects including new builds, expansions, migrations, and decommissions.
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against milestones.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation, resolving bottlenecks or conflicts as they arise.
- Manage risks, issues, and change requests throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with data center standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide clear updates to stakeholders and leadership.
- Oversee installation of critical systems, including power, cooling, cabling, and IT hardware.
- Facilitate handoffs to operations teams and ensure smooth transitions from project phase to production support.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in project management, with at least 2 years managing data center or infrastructure-related projects.
- Strong knowledge of data center components, including servers, storage, networking, cabling, HVAC, power systems, and security.
- Proven experience managing complex, multi-site infrastructure projects.
- Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana, Trello).
- Familiarity with ITIL, PMI, or Agile methodologies.
Preferred:
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification.
- Experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Background in facilities engineering, networking, or systems administration is a plus.

Salary : $125,000
