Porter

Headway Hospitality is seeking experienced and detail-oriented Porters for our client in the New York City, NY area! Headway Hospitality focuses on providing high-quality workers to clients through Headway’s proprietary recruitment, talent acquisition, and workforce management practices. This position offers $17.58- $18.58/hour . Shifts are full-time, Monday to Sunday with five days on and two days off. We are looking to start individuals immediately!

As a Porter, you will:

• Clean and maintain areas such as, but not limited to, kitchens, dining rooms, and basements
  
• Wash dishes, pots, and pans
  
• Shampoo rugs
  
• Clean and wash floors and walls
  
• Use equipment such as, but not limited to, dish-washing machines, rug shampoo machines, and pot washing machines
  
• Assist other employees in the performance of their jobs, as directed by responsible supervisors, using the necessary equipment in the performance of these jobs
  
• Observe safety standards and practices
  
• Perform related duties as required or assigned with job classification
  

Qualifications:

• 0-3 years of relevant experience
  
• 40-hour workweek availability
  
• High School diploma or equivalent
  
• Previous experience in a kitchen environment preferred
