Job Summary
This position is responsible for enhancing relationships and our reputation with state government, state insurance department(s), health and human services commission, government agencies and trade associations; identifying legislative and regulatory opportunities to support business and policy objectives; and work with internal departments as an advocate and to support key initiatives and government accounts.
- Bachelor Degree and 5 years legislative and regulatory advocacy experience.
- Legislative / regulatory experience with State Departments of Insurance, Health and Human Services Commission and working at a State Capital.
- Knowledge of managed care / health insurance industry.
- Verbal and written communication skills to include; writing, editing, disseminating complex information in a clear, concise manner which is flexible to suit the needs of a diverse constituency.
- Independent judgment skills.
- PC proficiency to include Microsoft Word and internet based legislative tracking programs.
Preferred Job Qualifications :
Hybrid work arrangement includes 3 days each week in the office.

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.
