Health Care Unlimited, Inc. is seeking honest and reliable individuals to join our dedicated group of community care attendants. The Attendants will provide personal care services to eligible individuals whose health problems cause them to have limitations in performing activities of daily living according to a practitioner's statement of medical need. Attendant's assist clients in their home and will work varying shifts depending on the assignment. Responsibilities include: Bathing, Dressing, Meal Preparation, Feeding assistance, Exercise, Grooming, Routine hair or skin care, Toileting, Transferring, Ambulation, and light housekeeping, laundry and other activities of daily living tasks in accordance with the established service plan.
Candidate MUST pass both a background check and other employment eligibility requirements, AND have a reliable means of transportation, must understand the concept of Clocking In / Out.
Required skills include the ability to: follow Agency and State program requirements including using E.V.V. software for timekeeping, provide excellent customer service, effectively implement all agency health and safety measures, and maintain open line of communications with their supervisors.
Preferred qualification include: Previous in-home patient care experience and/or be certified as a nurse assistant (CNA). Bilingual (with the ability to communicate in written and verbal style in both English and Spanish). When necessary, candidates may need to be or must be willing to obtain CPR & First Aid certification.
