What will I be doing as a Resident in Counseling?
- Completing Comprehensive Assessments
- Working with individuals and families in the outpatient office setting, as well as meeting them where they are in the community.
- Crisis intervention and treatment planning
- Fully licensed therapists may assist with oversight of clinical service provision for the team.

Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in a Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or a Related field
- Meets current requirements to receive approval as a Resident in Counseling or Supervisee in Social Work in the state of Virginia.
- Preferred: approved by the board as a Resident in Counseling or Supervisee in Social Work in the state of Virginia
- Preferred at least one year of Direct Care Experience
- Excellent writing and communication skills: May be required to submit a writing sample.
- Candidates must be available to work afternoon and evening hours.
Salary starting at $48,000 with ability to earn additional hourly billable rate.
Full-time Residents at Health Connect America are eligible to receive supervision towards their Licensure from a Board Approved Supervisor, at no cost to the employee.Location: Harrisonburg, Virginia
