Director of Sales Marketing

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales and Marketing Director to join our senior living community. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our sales and marketing team, developing strategies to drive occupancy, and enhancing the visibility and reputation of our community. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for working with seniors and a proven track record in sales and marketing within the healthcare or senior living industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing plan to increase occupancy and meet or exceed community sales goals.
• Lead, coach, and mentor the sales team, setting performance targets and driving team towards achieving sales objectives.
• Manage the community's brand and reputation through effective public relations and marketing communications.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to understand market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Organize and participate in community events and outreach programs to promote the community and generate leads.
• Collaborate with the management team to enhance the resident experience and ensure satisfaction.
• Prepare and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and achieving a positive return on investment.
• Implement CRM systems to manage leads and customer interactions effectively.
• Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management, highlighting successes, challenges, and strategic recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within the senior living, healthcare, or related industry.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful marketing strategies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
• Knowledge of the local market and potential referral sources.
• A compassionate approach with an understanding of the needs and challenges faced by seniors.
