The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliated with Queens Hospital Center, serving the culturally diverse community of Queens, is seeking a BC/BE Adult Psychiatrist to join its Adult Inpatient Division.
Queens Hospital Center’s Psychiatry Department serves a multi-cultural population of adults, children and families. We offer a full spectrum of services including: Adult Inpatient services with 2 units and 53 beds staff by a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, psychology, SW and internist staff. We are a busy city community hospital with a medium volume CPEP; Mobile Crisis Team; Adult Partial Hospitalization Programs; Ambulatory Adult programs; Addiction Services and ACT teams. In addition, candidates will be offered faculty appointment with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Health System. The Department collaborates with numerous schools in providing training programs in the areas of psychology, nursing and medicine. We have recently launched our own Residency Training Program since July 2025 and there is opportunity to teach our residents who spend time on the inpatient service during their PGY 1 and 2 years. This is an excellent opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team working with a diverse patient population.
Queens Hospital Center offers a supportive and collegial environment and competitive salary and benefits. Salaries range from $261,000-$281,000 based on board certification. This position requires current New York State License, Medicaid number and DEA number in order to practice medicine.
