You’ll work closely with nursing leadership and multiple departments, making you a valued partner in daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
Central Supply
- Maintain par levels and inventory for medical supplies, PPE, and office items
- Receive, stock, rotate, and track inventory usage
- Place and reconcile vendor orders; resolve backorders or delivery issues
- Support infection control through the proper storage and availability of supplies
- Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments per care plans
- Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle checks and maintain required logs
- Keep vehicles clean, safe, and ready for use
- Run local errands (pharmacy, labs, supply pickups) as needed
- Provide hands-on resident care including ADLs, hygiene, mobility assistance, vitals, and documentation
- Support resident comfort, dignity, and safety
- Assist with call lights, mealtimes, hydration, and restorative care as needed
- Build and distribute staff schedules
- Track call-offs and assist with coverage coordination
- Communicate staffing updates to nursing leadership and department heads
- Assist with timekeeping issues (missed punches, corrections)
- Coordinate agency staffing when directed by leadership
- Active Texas CNA certification in good standing (required)
- Valid Texas driver’s license with acceptable driving record; ability to pass MVR check
- Experience in at least one of the following is strongly preferred:
- Central supply
- Healthcare staffing or scheduling
- CNA floor support
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs; frequent standing and walking
- Basic computer skills (EMR, scheduling, timekeeping) or willingness to learn
- Strong organization, follow-through, and customer service skills
- Adaptable, calm under pressure, and a strong team player
- Full-Time | Primarily daytime hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Occasional flexibility may be needed based on facility operations
