Medical Equipment Technician will be responsible Install, maintain, and repair medical equipment. They must test and calibrate parts, identifying parts for repair or replacement. These technicians also perform preventative maintenance on critical equipment to ensure high-quality treatment for patients.
Position Responsibilities
- Prepare orders for delivery.
- Cleans, maintains, repairs all equipment per manufacturer specifications.
- Tracks all maintenance in company’s software
- Ensures that billing is completed for all PM performed.
- Communicates with facility maintenance personnel.
- Ensures parts inventory is maintained.
- Regularly cleans and organizes store rooms at facilities to which company delivers.
- Cleans delivery equipment including totes, dollies etc. as needed.
- Assists with inventory control as needed: including counting and ordering supplies when asked to do so.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Educate patients with relation to their home medical equipment to facilitate safe and effective equipment use and desired care, treatment and service outcomes.

Position Requirements
- Valid state issued driver’s license in the state where the employee works, required.
- High school diploma, required.
- Background working with medical equipment highly preferred,
- Must have Clean Driving Record and pass Background Check.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds.
- Requires sitting, driving, walking, standing, talking, or listening.
- Requires ability to see small print on computer and or paperwork and electronic tablet.
- May require driving a company vehicle for a portion of the workday.

Compensation Range
- $17.00 - $22.00 per hour, dependent on experience
