Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for a Registered Nurse, Manager to work in a surgical center located in Calabasas, CA.
Pay Rate: $85/hr
Location: Calabasas, CA
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:00)
Job Duties:
- Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all activities of the facility according to its policies, procedures, philosophy, and objectives. Participates in financial, clinical, and cost-containment decisions. Ensures that the facility meets all related local, state, federal, and accrediting-body rules and regulations. Serves as internal risk manager. Responsible for the management of all aspects of the environment of care, personnel, materials/equipment, education of personnel, and clinical and administrative duties. Coordinates and directs patient care in the facility according to adopted policies and procedures, state and federal regulations, and accepted accreditation standards. Promotes a favorable image of the facility to physicians, patients, insurance companies, and the general public.
Requirements:
- ACLS, BLS
- 4 years of healthcare leadership experience
- 2 years of financial management experience
- HSD/GED
- CA RN license
- BLS/ACLS (AHA or ARC only)
- Surgery center experience
- Schedule flexibility to meet program needs, including some weekend availability
Preferred:
- BSN or Master's in Nursing or Healthcare Admin
- Interest in temp to perm
- Experience with compliance and local, state, and federal accreditation
Skills:
- Capital Budgeting to include justifications and cost benefit analysis
- Advanced communication skills
