Seeking experienced Emergency Department RNs for a fast-paced unit requiring specialized skills in treating a range of critical conditions including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure. Candidates must have 2 years of ED experience with some pediatric experience, hold current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications, and be proficient in using EPIC EMR. Charge nurse capability is highly preferred, and the role involves floating, with a 1030AM-1100PM shift schedule in a 64-bed unit treating patients of all ages. Advanced skills in managing critical drips and medications are essential, including pressors, vasodilators, anti-arrhythmics, sedatives, and anticoagulants.
