HealthQuest Physical Therapy is seeking an energetic enthusiastic individual for a Front Office Specialist position at our Clarkston location.
This is a Part Time position. Must be available Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. Set schedule to be determined with potential offer.

This position is responsible for answering, handling and screening incoming telephone calls, greeting and registering patients, filing and preparing charts. In addition, this position is responsible for check-out functions, including the collection of payments, scheduling appointments, and working with the team to ensure our patient’s needs are met.
Front Office Specialists’ Responsibilities:
- Greet patients in a friendly, outgoing manner in person and on the phone; ideal candidate would be empathetic to patient conditions and do whatever is needed to help, accommodate, and support the patient’s success in therapy
- Ensure 360 communication with patients, physicians, other staff members and anyone else involved in the patient’s care – including any necessary follow-ups
- Maintain complex schedules while ensuring that all patients are scheduled the appropriate number of visits which may include working with other staff members to accommodate patient needs
- Verify and explain insurance benefits to every patient, as well as obtaining and tracking any authorizations needed
- Accurate data entry into our electronic medical system
- Collect Co-pays in an accurate, timely and professional manner
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced, demanding environment while staying on top of daily reports and tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring filing, requests, scanning, and faxing is timely completed.
- Our Front Office Specialists report to the office manager and clinic director and may be asked to perform any additional tasks.
