Description
Heart of America Beverage is seeking energetic candidates to join our merchandising team in our Springfield location. If you enjoy a fast paced and dynamic environment, this job may be for you. The most fun part? We sell beer for a living! Our culture is made up of people who are passionate about beer and passionate about fun. We work hard and we have a lot of laughs along the way. Must be able to work one weekend day and at least two days during the week. We are able to work around school schedules. Starting at $15.00 per hour.
Merchandiser Primary Responsibilities:
- Neatly merchandising displays and shelves, and maintaining clean shelf conditions
- Building display point of sale in all areas of stores
- Properly rotating product
- Maintain accurate price tags and point of sale in all departments
- Establish and maintain rapport with key store individuals and provide outstanding customer service
- Maintain a timely and accurate call schedule
- Identify and communicate individual store problems and opportunities to the sales management staff
- Other duties may be assigned as necessary
Qualifications
Merchandiser Qualifications:
- There are many physical qualifications that helpers must meet. Ex) lifting up to 165 pounds, bending, standing for several hours at a time, tolerate going back and forth from hot to cold temperatures
- Must be able to take direction
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen
- Must be self-motivated
