What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Service Representative position at Heart of Florida Health Center?

The Patient Services Representative welcomes patients and visitors at the clinic. Strong communication is expected with clinic team members and providers creating a positive and smooth patient experience. The ideal candidate will have a background in medical or dental front office. Typical responsibilities include:
· checking in and checking out patients
· scheduling appointments
· validating insurance
· updating patient demographics
· collecting copayments
· pre-visit planning
· provide quality customer service
Minimum one year experience in a medical or dental practice setting is preferred but special consideration is made if you have experience that would complement this role. Bilingual English/Spanish speakers earn supplemental pay!
