- Assisting veterinarians and technicians during routine exams and surgical procedures.
- Monitoring and caring for pets, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Collecting samples and performing diagnostics under supervision.
- Administering prescribed medications, vaccines, and treatments.
- Recording and maintaining patient medical history and inventory logs.
- Preparing rooms for appointments and surgery.
- Educating pet parents on preventive care, nutrition, and behavior.
- Supporting low-stress handling practices during all interactions.
- Assisting with radiographs, dental procedures, and general anesthesia monitoring.
- Maintaining a clean, disease-free environment throughout the center.
- Promoting all center services, including grooming, daycare, and boarding.
- Preferred Experience: 1-2 years in a clinical veterinary setting.
- Skills: Exceptional client communication, strong interpersonal abilities, and teamwork mindset.
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift 20 lbs. and manage emotionally and physically demanding situations.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Certifications: Fear Free or HABRI certification (or a willingness to obtain).
- A passion for pets and the human-animal bond.
- Tech-savvy with an interest in innovative veterinary practices.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude.
