What are the responsibilities and job description for the EMS Dispatcher - 12-hour shifts position at Heartland Ambulance Service?
Heartland Ambulance Service is seeking full time EMS dispatchers to work in our dispatch center. This position is full time with benefits. The EMS Dispatcher is responsible for taking calls, entering information into the CAD and dispatching the appropriate ambulances. There are no radios' it is done by computer.
You will work 12-hour shifts (7a-7p, 7p-7a) and be assigned to either day or night shift. You will work 3 days on, 3 days off, 4 days on, 4 days off.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must speak English proficiently
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must be able to pass a background check
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 48 per week
