Maintenance Technician

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Hang and lower flags daily
• Pick up company mail daily
• Check mail at trainers’ homes/apartments
• Make “pickups in town and/or out of town as requested
• General office Maintenance and repair as needed
• Perform general maintenance and repair on company houses
• Grounds keeping (pick up trash, branches, sticks etc.)
• Trim bushes/spray weeds at the Main Plant and Annex building
• Assist in applying sand or calcium chloride in case of snow/ice buildup on walks and steps
• Fill and place buckets of ice melt by the inside of all doors in the winter season.
• Shovel snow as needed
• As emergency needs arise, assist plant Maintenance
• Move office desks, file cabinets, etc. as requested
• Transport files to Records Retention as requested
• Minor repairs on desks, chairs, and chairs in the break room a s requested
• Restock office copy paper when it is delivered
• Maintain “Smoking areas”
• Transport Japanese Associates to and from the Airport as requested
• General Maintenance of the Fleet of Company Cars (oil changes, wash and detail, gas up, check

tires etc.)

• In charge of updating The Company oil trace sheet
• Pick up the gas logs and receipts once a week from Speedway Gas Station
• (1157 E Indianapolis Road Greencastle, In) verify receipts with Log sheet. Keep in manilla envelope in postal drawer in H.R. until Accounts payable sends Invoice have H.R. Manager sign and give to Accounts Payable for payment
• Takes care of placing License plates and /or stickers and new registrations on cars yearly
• Take fleet cars to Lafayette Bob Rhorman’s as needed for recalls or Maintenance as requested
• In charge of taking Company cars for estimates(quotes) for repairs or service
• Before returning Enterprise rental cars, inspect and fill gas tank
• Lawn Chemical Service for Company Houses (fertilize yards)
• Furniture Preparation (on time)- Remove and replace company furniture from company houses and apartments in Greencastle and Lafayette as needed
• Purchase items needed to “set up” houses/apartments
• Change Furnace filters at the Company houses
• Cut and replace trees as needed
• General Maintenance on Company houses
• Collect Estimates on projects, items, needed for company houses and company property when requested
• Clean gutters at company houses
• Seal and coat company driveways as needed
• Consistently look for ways to reduce costs or eliminate unnecessary costs
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• General residential Maintenance skills
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Ability to maintain good attendance
• Foster “Positive Attitude” and Promote “Good Moral”
