Responsibilities:
HeartShare St. Vincent’s Services (HSVS) SUPPORT Program (Support to Undocumented Persons through Protected Open and Respectful Treatment).
The SUPPORT program provides for the Provision of Mental Health Services for Undocumented Immigrants with a Grant from the Mother Cabrini Foundation.
The full-time Clinician will endeavor to meet the individuals at shelters/ hotels in response to the ongoing migrant crisis in New York City. This Clinician will engage with individuals with the intent to provide assessment and treatment to process their varied degrees of trauma with the intent of establishing a narrative of the journey these individuals have lived through providing through partnership to assist them through this period. Therapy will be provided through a hybrid of services by Telemental Health if needed, at the person's residence or at the 66 Boreum Place location.
The staff is diverse and culturally sensitive and empathic to the challenges individuals are living through.
Clinical Supervision is provided weekly.
Qualifications
Job Description:
- Master's Degree and licensure required in one of the following disciplines:
- Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Art Therapy, Marriage, and Family Therapy.
- Three to five years of experience required.
- Bilingual in Spanish, Creole, or another language preferred.
Multi-lingual is highly preferred in the aforementioned areas.
- Able to work remotely and maintain weekly targets and complete all documentation.
- Attend weekly supervision and follow agency policies and procedures.
- A minimum of one in-office day.
Salary : $60,000 - $75,000
