Position Summary:
Responsible for assembling kits and final weapons (rifles and pistols).
Essential Functions:
- Use hand tools, power tools and measuring devices such as gauges, calipers, micrometers, and rulers to perform duties
- Assemble complex components.
- Able to troubleshoot problems when necessary.
- Perform material handling tasks.
- Verify conformance of parts to stock list and prints, using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers.
- Maintain and lubricate parts and components.
- Rework and replace damaged parts of assemblies.
- Perform work assignments to the highest level of quality.
- Observe all safety requirements and company policies.
- Perform repetitive tasks.
- Perform other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
Position Specifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Able to read drawings is preferred.
- Must be able to use hand and power tools.
- Need to be detail oriented and able to follow instructions.
Educational/Experience Requirements:
- Zero to three years of experience in assembly/manufacturing environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Physical and Mental Demands (travel, lifting restrictions, etc.)
- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time, perform repetitive tasks, and possess manual dexterity.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.
