Associate Technician, Motor-Gearbox Build
Job Title: Associate Technician, Motor-Gearbox Build
Location: Newark, CA (Onsite),
Role and responsibilities:
Support assembly process with kitting efforts, part movements and documentation
Perform standardized build activities with assembly equipment
Assist in instrumentation efforts through TC creation and inventory checks
Organize and maintain the Prototype lab space, equipment, and inventory utilizing 5S and EHS methods.
Teardown and scrap end of life drive units to maintain inventory
Be part of a team to develop amazing automotive products.
Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of mechanical assemblies, components and BOMs.
Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and build equipment.
Ability to be flexible and responsive.
Hands-on mentality.
Good understanding on how to work safely and efficiently in a lab.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good verbal and written communication skills required."
