We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer/Shipper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing products for shipment, ensuring that all items are accurately packed and labeled according to company standards. Duties
- Inspect products for effects prior to packaging.
- Accurately pack products for shipment, ensuring they are secure and protected during transit.
- Label packages clearly with shipping information and tracking numbers.
- Maintain an organized workspace, keeping packing materials and supplies stocked.(This includes performing weekly inventory counts.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking shipped items and reporting discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping goals and deadlines.
- Follow safety protocols while handling materials and operating packing equipment.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in packing and labeling.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Good organizational skills for managing packing materials and inventory.
- Basic math skills for measuring and counting items accurately.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or shipping environment is a plus but not required.
