What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kitten Nursery Technician position at Heidi's Village?
Are you someone that just can’t get enough of baby kittens? Come join our very special team of caregivers to our most vulnerable residents, our neonate kittens. Kitten season is here, and we are looking for very special and compassionate people to provide round the clock, life-saving care for the babies in our nursery. Duties will include preparing and warming formula, bottle feeding, stimulating, tracking feeding and medical information, cleaning dishes and laundry and any other duties needed. The people filling this position, we be sticklers for cleaning and disinfecting procedures and wearing the required PPE, to protect the health of our babies.
We currently need 2 individuals. The shifts we need covered are:
5 a.m. - 10 a.m. Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday
9 p.m. - 5:30 a.m. Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
Vet tech/assistant experience & experience with bottle babies is preferred, reliable attendance and punctuality a must.
This job requires sitting for long periods of time, standing, walking, lifting and stooping.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $14.50 per hour
