Heights Eyecare is seeking a friendly, reliable team member to join our busy 6 doctor practice as an optometric technician. This is a great job for an energetic and qualified individual who would like to make a positive difference in people’s lives by helping with their most valued sense, sight!
Availability: Monday - Friday 7:15am - 5:00pm (one day will be shorter)

What you will do:
- conducting preliminary and diagnostic testing during comprehensive eye exams and ocular medical office visits
- managing patient flow by effectively communicating with team members and doctors
- help with the maintenance of patient records
- contact lens insertion and removal training
- answering and returning patient phone calls
- assisting in scheduling and patient referrals
- cleaning and restocking exam rooms with proper supplies
- maintain a well-organized and clean work environment
- spend 85% of the workday walking, standing, and moving
- other duties as assigned
What will set you apart:
- Optometric Technician with 1 year of experience (preferred)
- CPO and/or CPOA Certification (preferred)
- Prior experience working in a medical field
- Comfortable working with people of all ages, particularly kids
- Detail oriented
- Proficiency in navigating and operating computer hardware and software systems

We are willing to train, and the starting compensation will all depend upon the amount of training required and what level of expertise, but even an inexperienced optometric technician who can learn skills quickly, shows us commitment and can work hard, has the ability to earn more.
