What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pastry Prep Line Cook Prep Cook position at HEIRLOOM MARKET?
Heirloom Market in Wethersfield, CT is looking for a pastry prep cook / line cook / prep cook to join our expanding team. Our ideal candidate is an experienced self-starter, ambitious, organized, efficient and engaged. The position is part-time or full-time with lots of room for growth for the proper candidate.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting chefs with food preparation
- Cooking and plating food for customers in an open-kitchen
- Organizing food storage
- Storing, stocking and maintaining Mise en Place.
- Set-up and breakdown of line, including proper cleaning of station
- Maintaining prep lists
Qualifications
- 2 years experience with food preparation, line work, pastry experience a plus
- Must be punctual, organized, clean, and focused
