YOUR TASKS

FORVIA - HELLA Electronics Corporation is seeking an Intern for our Purchasing Team. The focus of this role will be to manage and maintain all contracts and award letters in coordination with our 40 person purchasing team. This internship provides a unique opportunity to develop a solid core understand of the formal award process as part of the overall purchasing cycle.

Daily Responsibilities

• Work with existing staff members collaboratively on the management of supplier accounts
• Draft, maintain, and manage all supplier contracts and award letters
• Learn, understand, and apply legal knowledge within all official company communications
• Conduct department administrative duties
• Collaborate with multiple departments such as sales, program management, finance, and legal.  

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Pursuing a degree in business, supply chain management, procurement, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of legal terminology relevant to procurement contracts
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills
