CAD Designer

Hellas Construction, Inc., a national sports construction and synthetic surfaces company, is seeking a Civil CAD Designer to assist a growing department.

The Civil CAD Designer is a key role within Hellas Construction, Inc. This individual reports directly to the Design Director and is responsible for creating, editing and finalizing plans for sports construction projects. These projects may include field layouts, seaming plans, color renderings, drainage plans, and sections and details. This individual will also assist in the recreation of logos and field artwork by tracing images within AutoCAD.

**Must have previous experience in a CIVIL environment with grading, paving, drainage, and utilities.**

Job functions will include, but not be limited to the following:

Develop complete sets of site development projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D including site geometry, utility, erosion and sediment control, grading/drainage plans and details in accordance with client and Hellas. Ability to analyze surveys, field notes, maps, aerial photographs, and other materials to identify potential project constraints and the best approach in developing and completing projects on time and on budget

• Coordinate with and consult other workers to design, layout, or detail components and systems and to resolve design or other problems.
• Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting component designs and the procedures and instructions to be followed.
• Position instructions and comments onto drawings.
• Modify and revise designs to correct deficiencies or to reduce production problems.
• Layout and draw schematic, orthographic, or angle views to depict functional relationships of components and assemblies.
• Maintain organization within the existing drawing database.

• Software: AutoCAD Civil 3D , 3D animation software, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office

The days and hours for this position are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. During our busy season, you may be required to work overtime to meet project demands

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
