As an RBT (Registered Behavior Technician), your role will involve implementing behavior intervention plans, academic support, daily living activities, social skills development, data collection, and more. You'll be working one-on-one with clients in the comfort of their homes for 2-5 hours at a time, with the aim of reducing challenging behaviors by teaching practical life skills.

Job Types: Part-time/ Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $28.50 per hour

Responsibilities and Duties:

· Provide 1:1 teaching in the home setting

· Support and/or provide instruction to clients using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

· Consistently implement student Behavior Intervention Plans

· Accurately record, monitor, and analyze client data

· Ensure needed teaching materials are prepared

· Write and submit daily insurance notes

· Maintain client dignity

· Develop strong rapport with the client and family

· Follow specific protocol for each client and implement individualized ABA programs as set by treatment plan and directed by BCBA

· Communicate with supervisors on case updates, changes in schedule, and availability

· Complete training and competency necessary to obtain RBT certification if required for the role

Some possible skills to be targeted include:

· Age-appropriate play skills

· Toileting

· Dressing

· Social interaction

· Community involvement

· Appropriate sensory activities

All programs will be designed and maintained by a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst). RBTs will receive ongoing training and supervision at least weekly throughout the course of employment.

This position may require commuting between client locations.

Job Requirements:

· Valid drivers license

· Must have reliable transportation and automobile insurance

· Have smart phone or tablet

· Pass a criminal background check

· High School diploma or equivalent

· Ability to work with confidential information (HIPPA)

Education Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· RBT Certification (Preferred)

We prefer candidates have:

· Desire to learn

· Ability to collaborate as a team

· CPR/ First Aid certification

· 1 year of experience with special needs

· RBT Certification

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23.50 - $29.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
