The Inventory Control Analyst is responsible for the synchronicity of Helm’s perpetual and physical inventory through the daily review of status reports and inventory management software applications.

A qualified candidate for the Inventory Control Analyst
position will have an immediate impact on the following activities:
- Inventory tasks in WMS (HighJump) via handheld
- Identify corrective action for items with physical inventory discrepancies.
- Administer scrap notifications.
- Administer cycle counts.
- Monitor QuickBase® 5S inventory reports and resolve all discrepancies.
- Eliminate all Merchandising inventory variances.
- Provide Item’s File maintenance in the resolution of inventory discrepancies.
- Provide weekly status reports to the Distribution Center Manager.
- Maintain an accurate and current knowledge of the corporation’s warehouse and sales operational procedures.
- Operate warehouse equipment
- Attend internal and external meetings
- Maintain work procedures
- Assist with training of new employees
- Assign and slot material as needed
Requirements
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or Logistics preferred or experience within distribution services is required. 1-3 years in order fulfillment and distribution services or closely related administrative production/operational environment preferred.
Required Competencies:
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office 365
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Effective project management skills
