What are the responsibilities and job description for the Home Health Aide position at Help At Home?
Job Summary: An individual that provides a broad range of supportive services, including bathing, nail and skin care, oral hygiene, toileting, safe transfers, range of motion, nutrition and fluid intake, medication reminders, and any other task appropriate according to the patient's care plan. This is an hourly position.

Qualifications/Educational Requirements:
- At least 18 years of age
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Ability to read, write, and follow directions
- Current CPR
- Current PPD, or Chest x-ray if applicable
- 6 months experience preferred
- Successful completion of Adaptive's Competency, and/or evaluation and training program
- Work positively and favorably with clients, families, and staff.
- Demonstrate compassion, responsibility, and cheerful attitude.
Responsibilities/essential functions: The person in this position must be able to perform the following essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Follow the instructions of the nursing supervisor.
- Good communication skills, including the ability to make brief oral presentations to patient and caregivers
- Observe and report any safety hazards found in the client's home or any significant observations regarding the client
- Observe, report, and document patient status and the care or service furnished
- Basic infection control procedures and universal precautions
- Report client/family complaints to agency
- Maintain client confidentiality/adheres to HIPPA requirements
- Attend staff meetings, case conferences, team meetings, and educational in-services as required.
- The ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, bend or squat
- The ability to occasionally crawl, climb, or reach above shoulder level,
- The ability to occasionally lift up to and over 50 lbs,
- The ability to continuously see, hear, speak, and use both hands,
