Responsibilities of the Senior Project Manager - Commercial Interiors:
- Lead end-to-end execution of interior fit-outs on time, on budget, and built to the highest standard.
- Build and manage project schedules using MS Project; anticipate challenges and drive proactive solutions.
- Oversee subcontractor scope reviews, contract execution, and day-to-day coordination.
- Manage all documentation: RFIs, submittals, change orders, drawings, and Procore logs.
- Ensure full site compliance with safety protocols and local regulations.
- Communicate directly with ownership, architects, and consultants to manage expectations and provide updates.
- Troubleshoot issues on-site, maintain progress tracking, and deliver exceptional closeouts.
A successful Senior Project Manager - Commercial Interiors should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 6 years of experience managing NYC commercial interiors projects.
- Proficiency in MS Project and Procore (required).
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
- Deep understanding of NYC building codes, permitting, and compliance.
