JOB SUMMARY |
- Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) or Nurse Aides provide personal care and assist with activities of daily living for patients in skilled nursing facilities (SNF). CNAs function under the direction, instruction, and supervision of the Registered Nurse.

- 6 months experience
- Required Licenses/Certifications
- Current Nurse Aide Certification
- Current HeartSaver CPR Certification
- Current Driver’s License
- Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Ability to carry out obligations and duties of position
- Accountable for the regulatory requirements, functions, and duties of the Hospice Aide
- Deals effectively with community/consumers
- Demonstrated advocate of quality and cost effective care
- Understand the physical, psychosocial, and spiritual concerns/problems of terminally ill patients and families
- Must be knowledgeable of quality and performance improvement activities
- Proven written and editing skills
- Strong computer skills
- Requires ability to handle confidential information
- Excellent human relations and oral/written communication skills
