Master Maintenance Technician

• Operate, monitor, and maintain all utilities equipment, water systems, compressed air, steam, generators, etc.
• Painting of equipment, buildings, and/or plumbing.
• Some handling of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
• Maintain chemical inventory.Troubleshoot/Repair plant machinery and equipment.
• Operate shop power tools: saws, drills, presses, etc.
• Operate welding equipment.
• Synchronize alignment on plant machinery. Must show ability to align belt driven equipment and direct coupled equipment.
• . Must understand basic hydraulic theory, schematics and nomenclature.
• Install piping and conduit throughout plant.
• Install motors and other equipment throughout plant.
• Miscellaneous mechanical and electrical repairs.
• Operate miscellaneous equipment as instructed.
• Perform quality checks or inspections including required charting.
• Comply with all safety rules and procedures.
• Perform necessary clean-up.

General Information:

Must have completed four (4) year apprenticeship program and/or two (2) years college technical degree and/or ten (10) years in the trade. Follows instructions given by supervisor. Must work in a safe manner. Responsible for all duties performed. Understands all aspects of machinery, equipment, and tools in order to use them in the most efficient manner possible.

Pay: $24.15 - $28.35 per hour
