The Anesthesia Technician
- You will change anesthesia circuits, suction tubing, and canisters between cases
- Clean anesthesia machines and keep them properly stocked
- You will clean and stock all anesthesia equipment carts
- Move special monitoring equipment to the necessary operating rooms as needed.
- You will maintain infusion pumps.
- Learn to set up equipment for special cases (K-thermia, Bain Circuit, etc.)
- Check holding area to restock cart. Assure that hangers are full with IV bags and lines.
Henrico Doctors’ Hospital is a 340-bed Level II Trauma Center offering a full range of healthcare services. We offer specialized vascular surgery, Neurosurgery, a comprehensive certified stroke center, orthopedics and groundbreaking diagnostic imaging. Qualifications
- On-the-job training provided.
- High school graduate with good reading and writing skills.
- Possess the ability to work 11a - 7:30p, Mon - Friday and rotating weekends
