Job Summary And Qualifications

Our treatment team consists of psychiatrists, registered nurses, case management personnel, activities therapists and mental health technicians. BHU treatment programs consist of a variety of group and individual services including, but not limited to, relaxation techniques, medication management, management of acute symptoms, safety management and activity therapies. Job Summary And Qualifications

- Our Behavioral Health RNs use evidence-based practices to provide engaging treatments and foster positive outcomes
- As a BHU RN, you will provide short-term term intensive mental health treatment for adults in crisis
- You must function in an organized and time conscious manner
- You will initiate/document preoperative and discharge planning and patient teaching
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license
- Current BLS certification
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
