Job Summary And Qualifications
- Obtains quality radiographs of patients while under the direct supervision of an ARRT registered technologist. This is to be done in an acceptable timeframe.
- Complies with radiation safety guidelines. Operates radiographic equipment safely.
- Demonstrates ability to perform all necessary computer operation, such as entering orders into Meditech and obtaining and verify images in PACS.
- Render patient care in a professional and courteous manner.
- Prepare examination rooms for radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
- Performs clerical duties such as answering phone, distributing reports, etc. as required.
- Reviews each exam for technical accuracy and identifies anatomical orientation on all images.
- Demonstrates willingness to assist in additional duties, such as but limited to, patient transportation.
- Completes and maintains educational requirements.
