What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiologic Technologist - Full-Time - Days position at Henry Ford Health System?
Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs Radiologic procedures for the evaluation of pathological entities as ordered by a physician. Performs related functions according to department protocols. Utilizes independent judgment in determining appropriate radiographic techniques, positioning, and safety practices.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
Must maintain the required hours of continued education.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
Must be registered in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or registry eligible.
If registry eligible, registry must be obtained within 6 months of date of hire.
Healthcare Provider certification required (BCLS).
