Pay Range: OR ASSISTANT - $16.79 to $26.87
Job Summary:
Functions as a member of the Perioperative team under the direct supervision of a registered nurse. This role is primarily responsible for transporting patients to the unit or to their rooms, as well as for patient discharge, room preparation and stocking, assisting with patient care, chart preparation, and cleaning tasks
Licensure and Certification:
- Current BLS provider card required
Education:
- High school graduate or GED equivalent
Experience:
- One (1) year clinical experience in a surgical environment or patient transport preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to understand the operation of some equipment
- Self-directed and able to function independently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Organizational skills
Salary : $17 - $27
