Job Description
Hensons' Mulch and More is seeking a heavy equipment operator for our Pineville, NC mulch and soil processing facility. Job duties and responsibilities include organizing incoming feedstock, managing mulch and soil stockpiles, loading trucks, maintaining site appearance and cleanliness and ensuring equipment is well maintained. Equipment operated and assisted with will be trommel screens, tub grinders, wheeled front end loaders and excavators equipped with both grapples and buckets.
Work Environment
Hensons’ landscape supply yards/ wood-waste processing facilities consist of both a retail and construction job-site setting. Homeowners and contractors using pick-up trucks, trailers and dump trucks will be picking up bulk landscape materials. Hensons’ also delivers these materials utilizing single-axle dump trucks and tractor trailers equipped with walking floor trailers. There will be various commercial trucks on site unloading unprocessed green-waste for processing. Hensons’ utilizes various heavy equipment to assist with the loading and processing of inbound and outbound materials, including various sized wheel loaders and excavators.
