Position : Chief Operations OfficerPosition Status : Full TimeClinic Location Hiring : El MonteChief Executive OfficerHerald Christian Health Center (HCHC), an FQHC, is in search of a dynamic, mission-driven, Chief Operations Officer (COO) to fill a planned vacancy due to upcoming retirement. HCHC is a national quality award-winning and fast-growing non-profit Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) operating 5 clinics in Los Angeles County and 1 in San Diego County.Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Chief Operations Officer (COO) is responsible for leading, directing, and overseeing the operations of the health center by supporting continuous improvement of clinical operations, provider workflow, patient satisfaction, and quality and efficiency of the services.QualificationsClinical degree required; healthcare administration or related field, Master’s Degree preferredExperience as a COO is strongly preferred.A minimum of five years’ experience in non-profit healthcare management is required with three years of experience at the Director or Officer level of an FQHC preferred.Demonstrated success in development / fundraising and revenue generation-diversification preferred.Experience serving on or working for a board of directors; experience with not-for-profit boards a plusSkilled at recognizing and creating opportunities and leveraging resourcesExperience working with individuals and groups from diverse racial, cultural, linguistic, and socioeconomic backgroundsTrack record of developing and cultivating strong, effective collaborations and partnerships with external organizationsKnowledge of the principles of practice and compliance in Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) is highly desirable.Chinese verbal language (Cantonese or Mandarin) capacity is strongly preferred.CompensationCompetitive salary with full benefits package including employer-sponsored health, dental, vision insurance, life insurance, 401(k) retirement plan matching, PTO, paid holidays, and relocation assistance.If interested, please submit / email resume.Herald Christian Health Center (HCHC) is an equal opportunity employer.
