Position Summary:
Ensure visitors and entrees to the farm are following Bio-Security practices and protect the farm from unwanted visitors or trespassers.
Schedule:
Mon/Tues-5:00am-5:00pm
Wednesday-5:00am-11:00am
Every other week weekend-5:00am-5:00pm
Position Responsibilities:
- Maintain bio-security practices used for vehicle and visitors.
- Maintain contact with management as needed regarding visitors and guests on the farm.
- Spray incoming traffic with provided disinfectant.
- Ask appropriate questions of incoming trucks, vendors, visitors as needed to maintain bio-security practices.
- Receive and send out any packages/mail as needed.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Primarily assigned to a shift but will require flexibility and include weekend and holiday work.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years’ experience in similar role is preferred.
- General understanding of biosecurity protocols
- Bilingual a plus!
Reporting to the position:
- Production Manager
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Ability to remain standing and/or walking for extended periods of time on concrete and/or uneven floors.
- Ability to stoop, bend, climb, and lift at least 25 lbs. frequently throughout the day.
Salary : $16 - $17
